Eugene Omhonria (President)
Eugene Omhonria (President) is a seasoned IT professional, currently working at Philips Health Systems as a Professional Services Consultant. With over 20 years of international experience across Europe and a strong background in global organizations including Halliburton, Cisco system and H&M, he is committed to advancing the welfare of Nigerians in Sweden. Eugene is known for his leadership, cross-cultural insight, and dedication to community and family life.

Patrick Ayeni (General Secretary)
Patrick Ayeni (General Secretary) is a dynamic and sustainability-driven researcher with a strong academic and professional background in rural development, sustainable agriculture, and natural resource management. Over the past several years, he has tackled some of the most pressing challenges in agricultural transformation, ranging from irrigation technology for cocoa farmers in Ghana to scenario analysis for food system transitions in Europe. His expertise in climate adaptation, water management, agricultural policy, and participatory research is backed by experience with organizations such as ThriveAgric, where he worked for over three years as a People and Culture expert. He is also a certified HR professional and has interned at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). Patrick holds a master’s degree from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). His work spans Africa and Europe, focusing on irrigation technology adoption, smallholder farmers, food systems transformation.

Sylvia Ofili (Assistant Secretary)
Sylvia Ofili (Assistant Secretary) is a Teacher and Writer. She enjoys reading and swimming in her free time.

Mrs. Janet Adekanbi (Treasurer)
Mrs. Janet Adekanbi (Treasurer) is a seasoned Business and IT Consultant with a strong background in strategic planning, digital transformation, and operational efficiency. With over a decade of experience advising organizations across the public and private sectors, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to every project. Mrs. Adekanbi will serve as the Treasurer for the National Union of Sweden (NUS), where she oversees financial governance, budgeting, and fiscal accountability. Her dedication to excellence and integrity makes her a trusted choice for the organization’s treasury.

Oluwole Ogundeji (Social Secretary)
Oluwole Ogundeji (Social Secretary) is an engineer, a loving husband and father, a loyal friend, and an enthusiastic team player. He takes immense pride in being Nigerian and cherishes the moments he spends with family and friends. In addition, Oluwole values curiosity, resilience, and kindness.

Eden Olisekodiaka (Youth Secretary)
Eden Olisekodiaka (Youth Secretary) is a Geologist currently pursuing a master's in Environment, Sustainability, and Global Development, with professional experience as a Project Officer in the oil and gas industry. She brings a strong sense of integrity, a results-driven mindset, and a natural competitiveness to every task she takes on. Outside of work, Eden enjoys long walks, sports, and bringing a bit of fun into every day.

Babatunde Oyedele (Publicity Secretary)
Babatunde Oyedele (Publicity Secretary) is an Information Security professional with a passion for community engagement and impactful communication. As Publicity Secretary, he brings his experience in digital strategy and youth outreach to amplify the voice of the NUS and connect with Nigerians across platforms. Off-duty, he's a proud family man and football enthusiast who believes teamwork, discipline, and vision—on the pitch and in leadership—are key to making an impact.
